These Terms and Conditions apply when you use the Simply Antivirus website or purchase a product from us.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions together with our Returns, Cancellations and Refunds Policy, Delivery Policy and Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

2. Geographic Availability and Regional Restrictions
Simply Antivirus Ltd accepts orders through this website from customers located in the United Kingdom and selected countries outside the European Union (EU).
We do not currently accept orders from customers located within the European Union (EU).
Due to EU VAT requirements and the additional regulatory and administrative obligations involved in selling to EU consumers, orders from EU countries cannot currently be completed through this website.
Orders from countries outside the UK are subject to individual product availability, manufacturer restrictions and regional licensing requirements.
Our restriction on accepting orders from customers within the EU relates to where we accept orders and does not necessarily restrict where a particular software licence can be activated or used.
Depending on the manufacturer and product, some licences may be valid for activation and use in the UK, certain European countries or other territories worldwide.
You are responsible for checking the individual product information for regional compatibility before purchasing.
We may refuse or cancel an order where:
- the customer is located in a country we do not currently supply;
- the product is not permitted for sale or activation in the customer's country;
- inaccurate location, billing or payment information has been supplied;
- a geographic restriction has deliberately been circumvented; or
- accepting the order would breach a legal, manufacturer or supplier requirement.
You must not deliberately use a VPN, proxy, false address or inaccurate information to bypass our geographic sales restrictions.
Where an order is cancelled before the digital licence has been supplied, any payment already taken will be refunded using the original payment method.
3. Eligibility to Order
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order.
You must provide accurate and complete information when ordering.
You must not use our website or products unlawfully, fraudulently, in breach of manufacturer licence conditions or in a way that interferes with the security or operation of our website.
4. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, pricing, device limits, subscription periods and compatibility information are accurate.
Before ordering, you should check:
- the product and edition;
- number of devices;
- subscription or licence period;
- operating-system compatibility;
- manufacturer system requirements;
- regional compatibility; and
- any manufacturer account or activation requirements.
Product packaging images may be shown for illustration. Unless clearly stated otherwise, all products are supplied as digital licence keys and no physical box or disc will be delivered.
Manufacturers may occasionally update product branding, interfaces or features. This does not affect your statutory rights where a product is materially different from its description.
5. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to purchase a product from us.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
Orders are subject to:
- successful payment;
- product availability;
- fraud and security checks;
- geographic restrictions; and
- manufacturer or licensing requirements.
We may reject or cancel an order before supply because of an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, incorrect customer information, product unavailability, unauthorised resale or legal or manufacturer restrictions.
If payment has already been taken and the product has not been supplied, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method.
6. Prices, VAT and Payment
The price payable will be shown before you complete your order.
For UK customers, prices include applicable UK VAT where required.
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method selected.
7. Digital Licence Delivery
We supply digital licence keys only and do not ship physical products unless expressly stated otherwise.
Orders are normally processed automatically after successful payment.
Your licence key is usually delivered by email within 10 minutes of successful payment. In exceptional circumstances, delivery may take up to 24 hours.
Digital delivery is free of charge.
The delivery email will normally include:
- your licence key;
- download or setup links;
- installation and activation information; and
- troubleshooting guidance.
You are responsible for providing a correct and accessible email address.
If your licence has not arrived, please check your spam, junk and promotional folders.
If you have not received your licence within 24 hours, contact support@simplyantivirus.co.uk with your order reference.
8. Immediate Supply and Cancellation Rights
Digital licences are normally processed and supplied automatically shortly after payment.
Before completing your purchase, you will be asked to:
- expressly consent to the immediate supply of the digital content; and
- acknowledge that your right to cancel for a change of mind will be lost once supply of the digital content begins.
UK rules allow digital content to be supplied during the usual cancellation period where the consumer expressly consents to early supply and acknowledges that their cancellation right will be lost.
Once the licence has been supplied or otherwise made available following that consent and acknowledgement, you will normally no longer be able to cancel simply because you have changed your mind.
Because delivery is automated, we may be unable to stop an order after it has entered the fulfilment process.
This does not affect your statutory rights where a licence or digital product is faulty, invalid, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
Please see our Returns, Cancellations and Refunds Policy for further information.
9. Ordering the Correct Product
Please check your order carefully before paying.
Once a digital licence has been supplied, we cannot normally offer a change-of-mind refund or exchange because you:
- ordered the wrong product;
- selected the wrong number of devices;
- selected the wrong subscription period;
- no longer require the product;
- failed to check compatibility;
- failed to check regional restrictions; or
- provided an incorrect email address.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
10. Activation and Licence Conditions
Licence keys must be used in accordance with:
- the product description;
- the manufacturer's licence agreement;
- device limits;
- account requirements;
- regional and activation restrictions; and
- applicable law.
You must not:
- activate a key on more devices than permitted;
- deliberately activate a region-restricted product outside its permitted territory;
- bypass manufacturer activation systems;
- copy or publicly share a key;
- resell a retail key without permission; or
- use a key fraudulently or unlawfully.
A manufacturer may restrict or disable a licence where its licence terms have been breached.
11. Manufacturer Accounts and Renewals
Some products require a manufacturer account or may offer automatic renewal.
Where applicable, please check the relevant product information and manufacturer's terms for details of:
- account requirements;
- payment details;
- automatic renewal;
- future renewal pricing; and
- how renewal can be managed or cancelled.
Unless otherwise stated, Simply Antivirus supplies the licence or subscription purchased from us. Any later renewal entered into directly with a manufacturer is subject to that manufacturer's terms.
12. Technical Support
Your delivery email may contain installation, activation and troubleshooting instructions.
If you experience a problem, please follow the supplied instructions first.
If the issue remains unresolved, email support@simplyantivirus.co.uk and include:
- your order reference;
- product purchased;
- description of the problem; and
- screenshots of any error messages where possible.
Some manufacturer-account, subscription or technical issues may need to be resolved directly with the software manufacturer.
13. Faulty or Invalid Licence Keys
Digital content supplied to UK consumers must meet applicable statutory standards.
Please contact us if your key:
- is invalid;
- had already been used before it was supplied to you;
- does not match the product ordered;
- cannot be activated because of a fault with the key; or
- is materially not as described.
We may ask for screenshots, error messages or other reasonable information to investigate.
Where appropriate, we may provide technical assistance, correct the licence details, supply a replacement or provide another remedy required by law.
A refund will not normally be due where a valid licence cannot be activated because of:
- failure to follow instructions;
- clearly disclosed incompatibility;
- use of an unsupported device or operating system;
- an existing manufacturer-account conflict;
- attempted use outside a clearly stated permitted region;
- exceeding device limits;
- misuse or unauthorised sharing;
- a temporary manufacturer outage; or
- breach of the manufacturer's licence terms.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
14. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions.
Unless otherwise stated:
- only one discount code may be used per order;
- codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
- codes cannot be applied retrospectively;
- codes may expire or exclude certain products; and
- we may correct or withdraw a promotion affected by an obvious error.
15. Resale and Trade Orders
Products on our retail website are intended primarily for end users unless stated otherwise.
We may refuse or limit orders that we reasonably believe are intended for unauthorised resale.
Trade or reseller customers should contact us before ordering and may be subject to separate trade or wholesale terms.
16. Website and Third-Party Services
We take reasonable steps to keep the website accurate and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may correct errors in product descriptions, prices, availability or compatibility information.
Our website and delivery emails may contain links to manufacturer websites and other third-party services.
We are not responsible for independent third-party websites, although nothing in this section removes any responsibility we have for products sold directly by Simply Antivirus.
17. Intellectual Property
Simply Antivirus website content and branding are owned by or licensed to Simply Antivirus Ltd.
Product names and trademarks belonging to Norton, Avast, AVG, McAfee and other manufacturers remain the property of their respective owners.
You may not commercially reproduce our original website content without permission except where permitted by law.
18. Reviews and User Content
Reviews and comments must be genuine, lawful and must not infringe another person's rights.
We may remove content that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, unlawful, abusive or misleading.
We will not remove a genuine negative review simply because it is critical of Simply Antivirus.
19. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as major internet outages, payment-provider failures, manufacturer-system outages, cyberattacks or government action.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.
Nothing in this section excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
20. Our Responsibility to You
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to exercise reasonable care where required by law.
We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- statutory consumer rights.
If you purchase as a consumer, we are not responsible for purely business losses arising from personal or domestic use of a product to the extent permitted by law.
21. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate information;
- checking product and regional compatibility;
- ensuring your device meets stated requirements;
- following installation instructions;
- protecting your licence key;
- maintaining appropriate backups; and
- complying with manufacturer licence conditions.
Antivirus and cybersecurity software can reduce online risks but cannot guarantee that a device or account will never be affected by malware, scams or other threats.
22. Privacy
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
Payments may be processed by Shopify and authorised payment providers. We do not necessarily receive or retain complete payment-card details.
23. Complaints
To make a complaint, email:
Please include your name, order reference, details of the problem and the outcome you are seeking.
Nothing in this procedure prevents you from exercising your statutory rights.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms where necessary because of changes to our business, products, website, laws, licensing arrangements or countries supplied.
The current version will be published on our website with its last-updated date.
Changes normally apply to future orders. The Terms applying to an existing order will normally be those in force when the order was placed.
25. General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
If we delay enforcing a provision, this does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.
Unless otherwise stated, no person other than you and Simply Antivirus Ltd has a right to enforce these Terms.
26. Governing Law
These Terms and contracts with Simply Antivirus Ltd are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
For customers in another country that we have agreed to supply, nothing in these Terms is intended to remove mandatory consumer protections that apply and cannot lawfully be excluded.
